Today was a shitty day. Some things didn’t go right, I felt very blasé, and that’s totally okay.
You heard me right. I said, “That’s okay!”
We can’t expect to be at the top of our game every single day.
We’re fucking human!
Let yourself be as you are.
Some days, we’re going to feel like shit. Whatever your mood is, whatever your day is, you need to know that it is exactly what it is supposed to be. You can still be productive. You just have to BE and don’t get hung up on the blah days.
This situation presents us with a dilemma, where we can choose to either allow the stuff that has happened to make our entire day turn to shit or make the rest of our day an attempt at productivity. I chose the latter. We certainly can’t change the past, but we can change our outlook right now. You can to accept our moods for what they are and allow ourselves to experience each one. We don’t need to be Mary *freaking* Poppins. Life isn’t meant to be all one way and that applies to emotions of both extremes.
Ask yourself, “If I hold onto my bullshit, then how will that serve me?” Shift your focus and open yourself up to a higher vibration. Tell yourself, “Each and every day and in every way, I’m getting better and better.” When you do this, you subconsciously shift yourself to be in tune to a higher vibration and a higher light rather than holding on to what you do not desire.
Sometimes, you just need to breathe it out.
Breathe out the negative energy.
.. your expectations and your disappointments.
.. your burdens.
Today, I first had to let myself have my own little pity party. Then, I did a meditation just to give myself some time to clear my energy and release my issues. Lastly, I danced around, I shook it off (literally), I acted like a goofball. I did whatever I could to get myself laughing. Laughter feeds our souls. Even if it’s temporary, it will shift your mood.
Accept and appreciate that not every day is a ten. I enjoy the perspective and I enjoy the diversification because they help me to enjoy the days that are tens that much more.
You may not be as productive as your best days, but you can still make some progress toward your goals.
“Each and every day and in every way, I’m getting better and better.”
